LONDON FUTURE FORUM: PANEL ANNOUNCED
posted on: 14/6/2010 12:43:56

Representatives from the Mayor’s Office, the International Special Events Society (ISES), the London 2012 Olympic Games and Excel London will join a collection of experiential marketers to form a panel at the London Future Forum, 24 June.

Created by ISES and the Mayor of London’s Office as a joint initiative, the forum hopes to discuss London's "critical position as a centre of excellence for live events" and seek input from an expert audience.

"Creativity has been one of the most robust industries within the capital over the last 60 years," says senior VP at George P Johnson and board adviser to ISES, Kim Myhre. "This event provides us with a chance to underline London’s world-class creative event marketing credentials and the new ICC London Excel forms a fitting backdrop to the discussions."

The invitation-only event will take place at 9am on 24 June 2010 and coincide with the official launch of ICC London Excel.

The panel consists of the director of marketing for the Mayor of London, Dan Ritterband; the director of culture, ceremonies and education for the London 2012 Olympic Games, Bill Morris; VP for European marketing at Cisco, Amanda Jobbins; head of events at Barclays, Sarah Wright; incoming president for ISES and director of Imagination, Richard Foulkes; and George P. Johnson’s Myhre.

The session will be moderated by the adviser to the ISES Board and MD of industry PR and marketing agency Davies Tanner, Robert Wright.
